The 28-man roster for Team USA’s basketball team was released today and there’s many new faces on the roster. Notably absent is the older veterans in the league; namely Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade. New faces to the 2014-16 team include Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors’ golden boys. Assuming Deron Williams and Derrick Rose aren’t at full health, Curry and Thompson give Team USA’s coach Mike Krzyzewski some options in the backcourt. Other new faces, like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, add strong defense on the wings while Anthony Davis and LaMarcus Aldridge can man the paint.
